FIZIKA B 10 (2001) 3, 161-174 WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT TIME REVERSAL INVARIANCE VIOLATIONE. M. HENLEY Department of Physics, and Institute for Nuclear Theory, University of Washington, Seattle, WA 98195, U. S. A. Dedicated to Professor Kseno Ilakovac on the occasion of his 70th birthday Received 9 March 2001; Accepted 5 September 2001 Online 30 December 2001The time reversal (TR) transformation and its consequences are reviewed. Recent experiments and theories are discussed and limits on time reversal invariance (TRI)- breaking are given. Finally, future experiments are cited. We discuss TRI independently of the CP symmetry.
