We critically review the LL dynamics by examining L-L and L-nucleon phenomenological potentials in the study of the bound state properties of double-L hypernuclei LL  6He, LL 10Be, LL 14C, LL 18O, LL 22Ne, LL 26Mg, LL 30Si, LL 34S, LL 38Ar, LL 42Ca, LL 92Zr and LL142Ce, LL210Pb in the framework of (core+L+L) three-body model. An effective LN potential is obtained by folding the phenomenological LN potential into the density distribution of core nuclei. The former two cases (i.e. LL  6He and LL 10Be) are revisited to justify the correctness of the present potential model. Assuming the same potential model, we predicted some of the structural properties of heavier double-L hypernuclei. The hyperspherical harmonics expansion method, which is an essentially exact method, has been employed for the three-body system. A convergence in binding energy up to 0.25% for K max = 20 has been achieved. In our calculation we have made no approximation in restricting the allowed l-values of the interacting pairs.
